The first step for anyone to begin a real estate career in Indiana is to successfully complete this 90 hour OnDemand prelicensing broker course. However, the state will only grant a license to those who are 18 years old and have earned a high school diploma or passed an equivalency exam.

To earn a real estate broker’s license you must:
•    Take and pass the 90-hour prelicense broker course which includes 3 tests (100 questions, 1 attempt for each). You must a cumulative score of 225 points or more to receive your completion certificate.
•    Take and pass the in-person, Indiana state pre-licensing exam through the state testing facility – Pearson Vue (www.pearsonvue.com). Upon passing the state exam you need to apply for a real estate broker license with the Indiana Real Estate Commission.
